North American Junior Young Rider FUNDrive 2019!
The Alberta Team for Junior Young Riders is doing a FUNDrive Fundraiser in order to support the costs of reaching their goals. All of the funds will be used to offset costs to attend the North American Youth Championships being held this July in Kalispell, Montana. Alberta has a team of 2* riders qualified to attend championships!!
Are you ready to do some serious spring cleaning and support our team? Do you have clothes you no longer wear, household items you no longer need? The FUNDrive is a fundraiser through a company that purchases used clothing and household items to recycle and sell to a new home! A great way to pass on those items that you no longer use.
The Team will be collecting all items donated at various locations this spring! We have graciously been offered support to collect items at Minds Eye Event, Cochrane Horse Trials, Alhambra **until June 8**, Extreme stables, Elation Equine and Simpson Equine have also offered to collect items ongoing until June 25th. Megan Yakiwchuk and her mom will come to your home and pick up all donations in Calgary and surrounding areas (call Kristin 403-863-5132 to set up pick up or drop off in Springbank) if easier to donate that way.
The items the team is collecting are: used clothing, shoes, accessories (belts, jewelry, scarves etc), bed and bath linens, small appliances, sport items, kitchen items, decore, toys, housewares, books, Cds, DVDs and records.
Just place your items in large black garbage bags and tie closed! That’s it!
