Ashleigh Racicot

Hi, my name is Ashleigh Racicot. I’m a 14 year old Alberta eventer who boards out of Foxridge farms with my coach Paige Dinnie, and DPC Sport Horses. I started riding when I was 7, and I took it up as my main sport when Covid hit in 2020.

All of my events have been completed on a 14 hand pony named Farley. I completed my first event on Farley in 2021 at starter level, and competed with him until the end of my 2023 season at the EV90 level where we competed in Alberta as well as the United States.

I purchased my new horse – American Heart – in April 2023. Luna (as she’s known at the barn) is a 7 year old OTTB mare, and is just the sweetest thing. During the 2023 event season I got to watch and learn as my coach rode Luna at the EV90 level. I’m getting to know Luna now and look forward to riding her in the 2024 eventing season.

I’m super excited to be a part of the U18 team this year and to see how this opportunity can help me take Luna up the levels as I continue to grow as a person and a rider!
