Julianne Kemper

Hi my name is Julianne Kemper, I am 18 years old and my horse Autumn is 14 Years old.  Myself and Autumn have been partners for three years in the eventing world and have competed from pre-training level up to the intermediate level. Being a part of the High Performance team with AHTA is such a fantastic experience and I am so grateful to train with some amazing riders through the program as well as be apart of a group of riders and coaches who are so dedicated to the sport of Eventing.

Simpsons Equine Activities with Sarah Simpson was where I had my very first riding lesson when I was seven and I have been with the program ever since.   I have had the opportunity to coach some of the younger groups at Simpsons Equine and the experience of sharing my knowledge that I have learned through the program with others has been so much fun and rewarding. This opportunity has given me the push to get my coaching certification.  During my years of riding I participated in the Springbank Pony Club under the tutelage of Lois Booy who has taught me everything there is to know about horses from D1 to my latest level B.

This year I will graduate high school and then I am planning on going to Philadelphia to train with David Ziegler a former Gold and Silver winner at NAJYR, and Jessica Ransenhousen a Hall of Fame rider.  This fantastic opportunity will allow me to immerse myself in riding full time. I am hoping to qualify for the two star at NAJYR in 2019 at Rebecca Farms which has been a goal ever since I sat in the saddle.
