Mickanna Austad

Hello my name is Mickanna Austad I’m turning 15 this year. I have been riding for as long as I can remember and I started doing 3 day evening in 2018 as I rodeoed before that. I have competed up to EV105 level in evening and would like to make it to 5* one day.

I am now on a younger horse of mine named Nash that I started eventing last year and I am hoping to be going training by the end of the year on him. He has never done eventing before me and we ended the season last year going EV85. I would like to take Nash to young riders within the next 2 years. I am hoping to go work as a working student for someone. I would like to do that once I graduate and then spend a few years doing that.

I am super excited to be part of this team and the great opportunities it brings to many people including myself. I hope more people join this team. I love being apart of HP as it makes me a better rider and competitor as I get to attends lots of clinics and they always have great coaches to help.
