Rebecca Taylor

Hi! My name is Rebecca Taylor and I am 28 years old. I have been riding for as long as I can remember. I started my riding career moving cows and trail riding then at age 9 joined our local 4H club where I got the opportunity to dabble in many disciplines including western pleasure/ show circuit, team sorting, barrel racing, dressage, and a little bit of jumping.

Eventing has always been a dream of mine, and in 2019 I finally had a horse and funds to get me to my first event!

I am grateful to be able to be apart of the Development Team for 2023 with my 9 year old Trakehner X gelding Marc. I bought him as a untouched 3 year old and it has been a humbling experience to bring him up through the levels doing our first Trainings in the 2022 season.

Our goals for 2023 are to have a solid year at the Training level with a possible upgrade to a Modified at the end of the season if it has been a successful summer! We also plan to make our first trip to Rebecca Farm.

I am excited to be apart of the High Performance team as I think it is an amazing opportunity to focus on personal goals while working with amazing coaches and mentors to support along the way.
